Discover the Cuypershuis in Roermond

The Cuypershuis is a museum in Roermond. It is located in the old house and studio of architect Pierre Cuypers. This art museum shows various temporary exhibitions, suitable for old and young. Opening hours Cuypershuis Roermond

The Cuypershuis is open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 11:00 to 17:00. In addition, it is extra open on Easter Monday and Whit Monday. On December 24 (Christmas Eve) and December 31 (New Year's Day), the museum closes at 4 p.m.

 

History House: The History of Roermond

The History House opened in 2011 after the division of the Stedelijk Museum in Roermond into the Cuypershuis and the History House. The permanent exhibition takes you through the city's history, from prehistory to the present, while changing exhibitions highlight unique themes. Featuring a collection of 5,500 objects, this museum in Roermond is a must-see for history buffs! This art museum offers a rich experience for anyone interested in the history and art of the region.

Opening hours History House Roermond

The History House is open during the library's opening hours and thus every day of the week. The opening hours differ per day:

  • Monday: 1 p.m. - 6 p.m.
  • Tuesday: 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.
  • Wednesday to Friday: 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.
  • Saturday: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Sunday: 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.

On some (holiday) days the library is closed. Therefore, please check the library's current opening hours before your visit.
